ABOUT FANTASY FARM ALPACAS Fantasy Farm Alpacas began it's operation in 1993 when the first importation of Peruvian Alpacas arrived in Michigan. We were fortunate enough to acquire two males and four females. Peruvian King Solomon, (a solid white male) was the most sought after male in the lot. Peruvian Fabio, (a light fawn male) was an after-thought and became the best choice we ever made. King Solomon's first cria won the AOBA national show in his class and placed second in the obstacle class. We have received calls from across the United States, Canada and Mexico regarding Fabio. Fantasy Farm Alpacas has over 20 herd sires and approximately 200 Huacaya Alpacas and several Suri Alpacas. We had two reasons for becoming involved in the Alpaca business (1) We wanted something we could enjoy, and (2) a way to make a living upon retirement. Fantasy Farm Alpacas showed the very first Alpacas at the Houston Livestock show, Fort Worth Livestock Show, Dallas State Fair and San Antonio Stock Show. Our greatest pleasure is watching and helping newcomers in the industry. Very few farms can present the choices that Fantasy Farm Alpacas offers.
